Jeff Aronson, Owner and Landscape Designer. University of Maryland graduate with a BS degree in Horticulture/Landscape Design, a program which was highly oriented towards landscape architecture/construction. Jeff has continually directed and positioned As You Like It Landscaping to reach its goal of becoming one of the premier residential landscape companies in the Washington DC metro area.
Lisa Ring, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. University of Maryland graduate with a BS degree in Accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Maryland and a graduate of the George Washington University Landscape Design Program. Lisa uses both her accounting and landscape design education and experience to help the company realize its goal of becoming one of the premier residential landscape companies in the Washington DC metro area.

Maureen Robinson, Landscape Designer. Despite coming from a long line of gardeners, Maureen took the scenic route to garden design through a 15-year career in biochemistry (BS Biology, Arizona State University, MS Biochemistry, University of North Dakota). After coming to her senses, she enrolled in and graduated from the George Washington University Landscape Design Program and never looked back. She finds that the combination of creativity and analytical thinking required to design and build a successful landscape make garden design an endlessly challenging and rewarding career. George "Bloomin" Newman
Ken Cole brings a life-long love of gardens and natural scapes to his work as a Landscape Designer. He is a graduate of the Landscape Design Program at George Washington University and applies creativity, technical skills, and close attention to his clients' wish list" to achieve a pleasing and cost-effective result.
Lisa Carothers has gardening and design experience in the Mid-Atlantic, Pacific Northwest, and Rocky Mountain landscapes. She has worked for a horticultural book publisher, in garden product sales, and has written for gardening magazines and trade publications. She has a B.A. in Environmental Conservation, and is a graduate of the Landscape Design Program at George Washington University. Lisa takes inspiration from her extensive world travel experience and works to create livable garden spaces from the practical to the exotic.
Patrick joined AYLI after graduating from the Landscape Design program at George Washington University. His designs focus on the concept of the garden room. Patrick feels strongly that just like many rooms inside our homes, outdoor rooms often must be multifunctional. Gardens are for people, and as such, they can be beautiful in every season, providing what you want and what you need.
