The As You Like It Advantage

Safety is our NUMBER 1 concern: Our Team stays at the property from start to finish and manages all aspects of the Salting/Ice Melt applications. We know the tricky spots and understand how the combination of efficiency and quality lead to a safe experience for all.

Non-reliance on subcontractors: Our dedicated supervisors and crews, with a minimum of five years of experience, manage the same properties year after year.

Experienced Supervisors and Crews – It is hard to imagine guys who love to play in the snow, but we have them and they are great at what they do.  This is a job that our crews take seriously and we have piles of experience that can work for you.

Streets, Sidewalks, Ice Melt, and Hauling – Our Team does it all….. When you need to call us last minute to remove snow from an awning or other potentially hazardous situation, we’ll answer the phone and have a crew dispatched within minutes, every time.

GPS and Advanced Technology:  The use of GPS tracking in our trucks means that we can always rely on the accuracy of our information. All Foreman are also equipped with Smartphones capable of taking pictures and emailing. Supervisors are required to send photo updates as the storms progress and of the completed worksite.

Heated and Enclosed Loaders and Skid Steers: It might not seem like a huge difference, but using equipment that is fully enclosed and comfortable for our crews means greater efficiency and substantial reduction of fatigue. This translates into lower service costs per storm and less risk for damage on a property.  The majority of our loaders are less than 3 years old and at least one is dedicated to each site.

New Equipment and Full Time Mechanics – Our fleet is new, our loaders are new, and our mechanics are our employees.  New Equipment means reduced downtime. Mechanics are available 24/7 during a storm.

Enclosed Equipment Trailers – Generally every center that we take care of has a dedicated enclosed equipment trailer that allows us to safely store everything we would need to service the property. The use of this type of storage allows us to maintain efficiency and quickly mitigate almost any situation without having to return to a dispatch yard to pick up supplies.

Locally Grown – We grew up in the Rockville area and have lived in the Metro area for over 45 years.  We know how the area reacts in a snowstorm and we know how to navigate around the city.  We have a history of working through the toughest ice storms and blizzards that this area has ever been through..

Local Dispatch and Holding Yards – We have five dispatch and holding areas, which are generally located within a short drive from the facilities that we manage.

Snow and Ice Mitigation is serious business for us and something we dedicate much of our time to.  Our goal is to become the area’s MOST RELIABLE and EFFICIENT snow contractor while specializing in shopping centers with large anchor stores.  We are pleased to be able to work with some of the area’s best property management companies and managers and we know that you will appreciate the effort that our team has put forth to become a highly efficient and effective snow removal and ice mitigation company. Thank you again for considering us for your needs.
